Sound Bath Therapy
Sound therapy sessions, offer the chance to heal and rebalance.
Group and individual bookings available
I am a fully qualified and insured sound bath registered with the Complimentary Medical Association.
Sound Therapy is an ancient meditative experience where vibration sounds connect with your body stimulating brain wave frequencies which help nourish and rebalance the mind, body and soul. Sound baths enable us to tune deeper into our subconscious mind allowing us to release and cleanse habits or negative thoughts patterns.
During a sound bath a variety of sound instruments are played, you first shift into the Alpha wave state where you will be physically and mentally relaxed before moving into the Theta brain wave state state where there is reduced consciousness, a drowsiness deep meditative state before finally entering the slowest and strongest Delta brain wave state, a deep dreamless state of sleep which induces both restoration and healing .
I am a fully qualified sound bath therapist. My sessions are designed to rebalance and reset.
Treat yourself by taking an hour out from your week to delve deep into a state of relaxation while allowing yourself to relax deeper and let go of any build up of stress bathing yourself in the transformational sounds and vibrations , a pure blissful Sound Bath to rebalance the mind, body and soul.
What happens at the session
Simply lie down or if you prefer be seated in a comfortable position and wrap up warm in your blanket, let yourself drop off allowing the sounds of the traditional healing instruments to wash over you to create a sense of inner calm, relaxation and tranquillity. A time to practice self-care and compassion, travelling inwards releasing what no longer serves. Wake later fully rested and relaxed
We will begin with a short guided meditation which will lead into a beautiful sound bath using sound healing instruments such as the Native American Indian Flute and Crystal Healing Bowls & various wind Chimes which allows for experiencing a variety of vibrations in the room generated by the numerous instruments. While immersed in the sounds and vibrations you may experience inspirational or emotional moments which is not to be unexpected. The vibration of the gong is a very powerful method for reducing stress inducing a holistic resonance in the body and the ultimate meditative state of the mind which results in a greater sense of your whole self with a feeling of having let go of any intense feelings.
No two sound healings are the same nor are two individual self experiences but be assured you will leave the session in a more rested and peaceful state of mind.
